@Rizzy there are no official Blu-ray out for Shippuden. they aired Shippuden in HD i believe after episode 80 but only crunchyroll has them english sub. so yeah my shippuden batch will be DVDRip i just bought season 01

@itachi09847 no not yet but i heard of Europe getting Bluray releases. i seen the screenshots and i would say the first 80 or so episodes don't look like true HD maybe they are upscale. i cant say for sure i gotta look more into it. i know in japan they started broadcasting Shippuden in HD after like episode 81. so it might be possible after episode 80 Europe blu ray releases are native 1080p and not upscales. but i would have to buy them myself or find good screenshots.

@Noam Sorry for the super late reply had catastrophic PC failure so i had to build a new PC. i would say the quality is the same if not alittle better then the one on Crunchyroll. the resolutions are the same 640x480 bitrate is alittle higher on my rips as well as audio quality is alittle better. crunchyroll uses 44mhz mines are 448 48mhz

i know a lot of people have asked me if im gonna do a Naruto Shippuden Set and the answer is Yes eventually. i have bought box sets 1-21 sadly prices of these box sets have went up so between working and paying all my bills i can only buy maybe 2 or 3 box sets a month or every 2 months. but i will get them all eventually.

@Clemsi i bought Box Sets 1-3 of the Blu rays and in my opinion they are better then the DVDs and in 4:3 the Audio is the same as the DVDs but its a faithful HD Conversation. I think it is a Upscale and not from the Source but honestly watching the DVDs on my 4K TV and then watching the Blurays there is a difference.

@Clemsi thats gonna take a while. Viz Media only released 4 Box Sets so far which comes to 110 episodes. given how they release a box set every 3 months or so my best guess is by summer 2022 all the box sets will be release and thats assuming im able to buy each box sets when they release

@Clemsi yes they are those are box sets 1-4/ but they are in 720p. the bluray releases on the box sets are in 1080p. maybe he he changed the resolution during the encoding process
